Although normal tap water is safe to drink, it isn’t pure. It contains deposits such as magnesium, calcium and fluoride, as well as many chemicals. We use a process called reverse osmosis to remove these impurities, leaving us with pure h2o.  Pure water is naturally solvent which, for ease of understanding, means that it wants to return to its impure state.
