Why do we use pure water?
Although normal tap water is safe to drink, it isn’t pure. It contains deposits such as magnesium, calcium and fluoride, as well as many chemicals. We use a process called reverse osmosis to remove these impurities, leaving us with pure h2o. Pure water is naturally solvent which, for ease of understanding, means that it is waiting to absorb other particles to return to its impure state.
When pure water is used for cleaning, dirt and impurities are attracted to the water, and then held in it. This powerful reaction means that no detergents or chemicals are required.
Detergents leave a slight sticky residue on windows. This is an ideal surface to dust to adhere to. Over time pure water actually removes these residues, so your windows stay cleaner for longer. This means we only need to clean your windows every 5-6 weeks, rather than the traditional four weekly schedules. This saves you the cost of at least four cleans per year.
Anyone who has tried to clean their own windows knows that tap water leaves stubborn spots and streaks. As tap water dries the water evaporates, leaving the deposits behind as white chalky spots and greasy smears.
As our water is pure, there are no deposits to leave behind. This means that once we have cleaned the windows we give them a final rinse and let them dry to a spotless finish. The Benefits of using pure water:
- Amazing cleaning results
- Dries to a spotless finish
- No detergents or harsh chemicals. Kinder to your building and the environment
- Removes existing deposit build up
- As there are no sticky deposits for dust to adhere to, windows stay cleaner for longer
